"Happi was a HUGE part of making our birth amazing!""Happi was a wonderful support for me and my husband during the birth of our son. She took the time to hear and understand all of our desires for our home birth and did everything in her power to ensure that we had the birth experience we wanted - even baking birthday cupcakes for my son (at 4 a.m.!) because I was unable to do it before the birth. That was so touching and truly above and beyond! Happi also made sure that my husband felt supported and involved in the birth. She did not want to replace him, but worked with him to support me throughout labor. Her constant words of encouragement and physical support during labor were invaluable to me. When she told me that I could do it, I really believed her. And with her help, I did accomplish the natural birth that I desired! And even when I had some difficulties after the birth, Happi provided encouragement and comfort. Happi was a HUGE part of making our birth experience AMAZING!" ~Karis
"The birth of my newest son was indescribable. I knew I wanted a safe and natural-as-possible labor and delivery, but I was a little traumatized from the birth of my first son...it left me terrified of giving birth again. This time was soooo different. I felt confident and in control of my body. I felt supported 100%. Having Happi's encouragement (and support in making sure my birth plan was executed as much as possible), I was able to achieve the birth that I desired. When things got tough, I didn't immediately go into panic mode as I had during my first birth...she helped me maintain through it all. She provided a presence that was calming and encouraging for both my husband and myself. I always thought of a doula as a luxury I couldn't afford at this point in my life, but I am SO glad we opted to reach out to Happi. Now my husband and I both agree having a doula is a NECESSITY. Thank you, Happi, for all your words of support and encouragement, for your prayers, and for helping the birth of our son to be a joyous memory to cherish for a lifetime." ~Krissy
